A project I decided to create based on an existing concept for "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" by ILM.

My goal was to work directly towards the shot based on the concept, while making my own interpretation of the details. I utilized a standard PBR workflow and always kept an eye on reusability, especially while texturing. For the larger parts of the scene, I used tileable materials with vertex color and mask blending.
As a personal objective, I tried to deepen my understanding and use of lighting and atmosphere.
